Job Description

• This position is responsible to provide information security administrative and operational functions to ensure access to our systems, networks and applications for internal and external users.

Responsibilities:

• Provision of access to business critical applications occurs mostly in this position.
• Enforce security policies by administering and monitoring security profiles, review security violation reports and investigate possible security exceptions.
• Conduct basic vulnerability scans as required by the business and management.
• Assist with the development and implementation of security knowledge base documentation.
• Participate in forensic investigations and Computer Security Incident Response.
• Identify the currency of all security patches and updates, as well as anti-virus software.
• Assist senior staff in maintaining various security solutions; detect and report flaws within existing security solutions.
• During times of emergencies, outages and project planned work; be on call and available until the event is addressed.

Requirements:

• Develop basic understanding of role based access Security.
• Develop basic understanding of remote access technologies.
• Develop knowledge of Security Information and Event Management concepts.
• Develop knowledge of Firewall policy management.
• Develop understanding of Computer Networking Concepts / Solutions.
• Develop understanding of End Point Protection.
• Entry-level familiarly with ITIL practices such as Incident, Request, Change, and Access and Problems Mgmt.
• Entry-level exposure to Network-based Intrusion Detection / Prevention.
• Basic analysis and problem solving skills.
